Describe what you do for Citizens Bank.
I am a Commercial Loan Officer located in the Plainfield Branch of Citizens Bank. I provide financing for businesses big and small, including new purchases, refinances, new construction, lines of credit and real estate development. I enjoy doing things that will make a difference for the company and the customer.
How did you find your way into banking?
When I was in college, my roommate worked at a bank and helped me get a job as a consumer loan officer. I enjoyed what I was doing and was eventually asked to move to the commercial department. I’ve been doing Commercial Lending for almost 18 years now.
What is your favorite part of the job so far?
I really love the people and the culture of Citizens Bank. My favorite part of being a lender is seeing my customers succeed.
What motivates you?
Professionally, I like to be able to see people live out their dreams. I love to be a part of my customers achieving their goals.
Personally, there’s nothing I love more than seeing the success and growth of my three kids.
Who inspires you?
My parents. They instilled a very strong work ethic in me at a very young age. I am so grateful for everything I’ve learned from them.
What are you passionate about?
My family. They keep me busy, especially with sports. My kids are involved in competitive gymnastics, soccer, baseball, basketball and tee ball. We also love popping popcorn and curling up for movie time together.
What do you do for fun?
A couple of my friends and I go out to dinner once or twice a month, and I love spending that time with them. I also love going to concerts and live sporting events with family and friends.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
I would like to go to Italy and India. India, because I love a lot of things about their culture and the food. Italy, for the scenery, shopping and the food. I’ve just always wanted to go to both places.
What is your favorite food?
Sushi! My favorite sushi restaurant is Umi Grille, located in Terre Haute. I’m always willing to try new foods and love unique food combinations.
Is there anything else you want people to know about you?
I try to go above and beyond for my customers, thinking outside of the box when necessary.
